Description
“I-R-I-N-I” (ie. peace). The smaller version of the famous Sonic Sculpture by Aggelika Korovessi. The original sculpture has been awarded the silver medal in Beijing 2008 and has been exhibited in the National Archeological Museum in 2013.
The artist has used the soundwave of the Greek word ” Irini” to create her own unique sculptural alphabet, where sound, form and meaning meet.
Some see people hurrahing in unison for peace, which however is on a balance easily tipped over, by “invisible hands” who pull their undermining lever.
